About HAILEY'S App
Honing Alerts Issued by Law Enforcement for Youth Safety Application (HAILEY'S App) was coded to honor the memory of Hailey Owens, whose life could have been saved by a more timely and effective AMBER Alert in 2014.
After Hailey's death, her family and friends advocated for improvements to Missouri's AMBER Alert system, ultimately leading to the 2019 passage of HAILEY'S Law, which empowers law enforcement officers to issue alerts more quickly, and to include links to resources like https://HAILEYS.App with each alert.
Dent County Deputy Sheriff Mikol Skaggs conitinues to develop new features for HAILEY'S App to help law enforcement officers coordinate the search for missing kids. His goal is to get more eyes on the road during AMBER Alerts to help save abducted children.
The continued operation and development of HAILEY'S App depends on the generosity of people like you.
